Why is my bill estimated?

An estimated bill can be inconvenient. Understand what they are and how to stop receiving them.

Unless you have a smart meter, you'll receive estimated bills until your network provider manually reads your meter and sends this information back to us. This usually happens around once each quarter.

With a smart meter, your meter reads are taken every 30 minutes and remotely communicated back to us. This means you'll get accurate monthly bills and full access to our smart tools and Mojo app. That’s why we try really hard to upgrade our customers to a smart meter.
